A loud afternoon in the Hartberg House because....
Wisconsin and Iowa meet today. Will Iowa remain undefeated or will the Badgers kick some Hawkeye butt? Allie is supporting both teams. She is wearing her Hawkeye onsie (thanks Sarah) and her Badger Cheerleading outfit (thanks Darren, Kris, Zander, Elijah, and Lucas).
When David left for the game at 6 a.m. with Scott Thomson, we had a Wisconsin and a Cadet flag on our flag pole. We now have a Wisconsin and an Iowa flag on our flag pole. David has been sabotaged...by his own flesh and blood.
Tonight we will have a house bursting at the seams with people. Sarah and Michael are home for Allie's baptism, mom and Bob are here, and Tom and Beverly will be driving to our lovely town after the Badger v. Hawkeye game. The Miller family is going to join the fun when they come over tonight for homemade pasta and games. Hopefully we can Skype Tom in for some video conferencing fun. Right now Bob and I are prepping the Ragu, pumpkin ravioli, spinach ravioli, and meat filled ravioli. Bob is helping me braise meat, chop onions, carrots, and celery, shred cheese and create this culinary feast. Yummy!
