My first baby girl turned 14 today. So hard to believe little bitty Rae Rae is in her 2nd year of being a teenager. It has been fun to watch her grow and learn and stretch herself. Her new task: to get her driver's permit. She doesn't even want to get a driver's license when she is 16, and she made the mistake of telling me that, so now we have to work on having the courage to drive. If I know Rachel, she'll fight it, then she'll start doing it, then she'll excel and wonder why she ever wanted to avoid it in the first place. What a kid!
